Construction is well underway & our future home is starting to look like a real building! Everything is on-track for a fall opening, and now we’ve got roof trusses!

We have walls! This was an exciting week - as we are able to see the building really coming to life. Swing by the Port of Ilwaco to check it out if you have the chance!

The foundation was poured! The weather is on our side, so it can set this week.
Walls have been created and are sitting at the site ready to be put up as soon as the foundation is set.

Progress is happening! Our framers are on site this week getting prepared, and the concrete slab should be poured early next week (thankfully, the weather is holding out for us).
Oman and Son Builder’s Supply delivered materials to site - they have graciously donated a large package of materials for framing out the building.

We got to do our first on-site walk thru! The excavation work for the foundation is being done, and it felt great to stand “in the hallway”.
Our USDA & WA Commerce funding is both secure and not at risk due to federal and state budget actions happening right now.

This week, a fence went up around the construction site, and we had some adorable helpers at our ground-breaking! Excavation work is expected to begin this coming week.
