FALL

Soccer, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Flag Football and Tackle Football

Registration opens in mid-June and closes in early August.

Season runs end of August to the end of October.

WINTER

Basketball and Wrestling

Registration opens mid-September to mid-October.

The basketball season varies depending on age group. Wrestling season runs from November to January.

SPRING

T-Ball, Softball, Baseball and Babe Ruth Baseball

Registration opens in January and is typically closed by the end of March.

The season run time varies depending on sport.

Youth Sports Policies

Player Code of Conduct

As a member of an Ilwaco Youth Sports team, I will strive to create a healthy, enjoyable environment by agreeing to the following code of conduct.

I will respect my coaches and do as they ask.

I will exhibit good sportsmanship at all times, including “shaking hands” with the other team after the game, win or lose.

I commit to being a part of the season, all the way to the end.

I will treat coaches, referees, players, the other team and the fans with respect and kindness.

I will take care of the equipment that is provided to me and understand that if I break something because of a behavior choice I make, my family might be held financially responsible.

I will treat the facilities that we use with respect and only be in the designated areas I am supposed to be in.

I will try my best to learn and get better but will be okay if I lose.

I will represent Ilwaco Youth Sports with a positive attitude and understand that my actions impact others.

I understand that in order to play in games, I have to be present at practice during that week.

I will HAVE FUN.
